To God be the glory great things He has done!

wowww these couple of weeks the Lord has blessed us in many ways.

First of all a chinese magazine/newspaper (Sing Tao Weekly) reporter contacted us to do a feature story on our charity work and a couple of brothers and sisters were able to share their testimonies, which got publish in the newspaper for the chinese community to read! I thought that was quite unreal, and it was so super cool. The Lord truly provides all things for us, these people took the initiative to approach us and I think its a very good way for people to know about us!
The Lord also surprised me that day, before I even saw the magazine a sister told me I was one the cover, I didnt even know what she was talking about until I remembered about the magazine. Its so cool that a few of our missionary team b/s was on the cover!

haha my parents found this link for me. we are on the bottom left corner!

The Lord also reminded me that when I was like in grade 8 or something, I wrote down some life goals (haha). And I didnt even remember till now that one of them was to be on a magazine to signify that I, or a group I'm part of had done something worth documenting. And well, honestly when I wrote that down at that time, I never though about it being something related to God's work, but wow, the Lord really ties everything together, and fulfils my goals in the best way!

Secondly, we are doing a Photo Exhibition at Crystal Mall. I think its such a cool (wow i keep using "cool") way to bring our mission and other's needs before people's eyes. I think its quite effective too. The Lord really thought of everything, I really feel excited to have this exhibition so that God's work among us may be known to more people!

When I entered the exhibition for the first time, V saw us and immediately told us that another church's leader said that he wants to invite us to his church and share! We got introduced to him, and I think he was quite impressed that youths like us can go on these missionary trips. I never thought that the Lord could use my youth in this way. I never knew it was so impressive to people that youths my age are like...me haha. I am so thankful that the Lord changed me to be different than this generation.
I also feel very honored to be going to this church, to be a light and love home volunteer, and to be an executive of Love Your Neighbour Club SFU. All of a sudden it seems like I am of high status haha. Whenever b/s introduce me to other people they tell others my "titles" and they are quite impressed haha, and honestly I feel kinda scared and nervous....but I think I should be more thankful and give thanks more for the positions God gave me to be in.

Moreover, I feel that the exhibition looks very pro, and even though we are very limited and we really dont have much resources, but the Lord uses what we have to become the blessings of others! If you have a chance, go check it out!!

Lastly I will share briefly about my Calgary missionary trip. It was also very cool hehe, that I got to go home and go on a missionary trip at the same time. Since I stayed at home without the missionary team b/s I didnt really live the "missionary life". However I stayed with the b/s the whole time, and felt that Calgary was different haha. I feel more glorious, and the city of Calgary is more glorious.
In this trip I learned to support the leaders. I think this is a stepping stone to becoming a leader myself. I found it easier to support them in worship than in other things, but I learned to really be alert and see the situation. Also to take initiative to do things first. I am really not the kind of person who takes initiative, but I keep pushing myself and its been helpping and I feel better to take initiative.
In this trip I was very touched by the youth b/s and the young believers. They were able to experience God, and I realized what a precious thing this was. I realized how "golden" our youth is even more. And how "wow" or how amazing it is to live for God and pursue God in our youth. I was touched to tears by many of the b/s' changes and sharings. I also feel that we bonded more, and knew how to support one another more. It was so nice. I really love this family.

All these things God has been doing for us are so wonderfully great and really glorified us. However all glory should belong to God. We do these things not only to glorify what we do for God, but to glorify God Himself. We do all these things for Him because we love Him. People may look at our work as very honorable, but really behind all these is God Himself, He is the one who should be honored and glorified! May all these bring people back to His heart, and to give Him glory!

Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the earth hear His voice!
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the people rejoice!
O come to the Father, through Jesus the Son,
And give Him the glory, great things He hath done!

Sorry for the lack of blogs. As you can tell from what the Lord has given and prepared for us, it has kept us busy!
