Just quick prayers request:
1. Please pray for my grandma (on my mom's side). She will be undergoing surgery Friday HK time (so I guess tomorrow, our time) to remove 2/3 of her stomach in order to remove the cancer cells. Last time I spoke to her, she was still in good spirits and has a lot of faith in God to help her. Just pray for good doctors, less pain and successful surgery! Most of all, for her to experience God's special presence and blessing, and for my family members to see God's miracles and to get to know God more!
2. Pray for my grandpa (on my dad's side). He was in the hospital during the weekend, the medical staff later diagnosed him with "Acute bronchitis" and "Atypical chest pain". He is taking antibiotics now, but tired and has no appetite. Pray that through this, his heart can be softened to know God. Also for my parents to know how to support him and to use this chance to preach to him.
I really give thanks that my parents are in HK to handle all of this. The Lord is in control, and my parents actually booked their ticket to HK before we had any knowledge of these conditions of our family members. Reality has hit me, that my grandparents are aging, and we must take the chance to preach. I hope that these situations can awaken my family members to prepare their hearts to accept the gospel. Pray that the Lord can greatly use my parents in HK too.
Thanks, I will update you on my life in a later blog...probably after Monday, since I have a midterm that day. (Pray for that too?).
So ya, pray for my mom's mom and my dad's dad! Easy to remember right? I appreciate your prayers and support! :)
