Run after You

Lord, I want to follow Your footsteps closely.
Wherever You go, I want to follow.
Whatever door You open, I want to go for it.

The poor are waiting,
Thirsty souls are waiting,
I want to go feed them.

How can I deny Your calling?
You have already raised me up.
You have done Your personal work on me.
How can I not respond?

Lord,
Wherever Your heart is, I want to be there.
I desire to give to You what You desire.

Let Your dream be mine,
Let all that I have be Yours.
For apart from Your will,
There is nothing else worth living for.
Let me run after You.

The Lord's work is amazing. Truly He is so passionate, whenever we do His will, He will bless us! And we are the most blessed to do His will! I treasure that the Lord has raised me up, and raised up this movement. The world really needs us, and we need to treasure what we can do for the Lord more.

In a past worship, I was so touched that the Lord had drawn me away with His love. That I may leave the world's vanity, and run after Him. (reference to Song of Solomon)
His love is indeed better than wine, and it is so worth it to love Him, and to respond to Him. I just want to give all that I can to love Him and give Him what He wants.

After tonight's meeting, "All I Ask of You", a song from Phantom of the Opera popped into my head when I was regurgitating what I've heard lol. So weird, this has never happened before, but when I think about it as a conversation between me and the Lord (versus Christine and Raoul), I was touched. And I wrote that little blurb in the beginning. So um...heres the song!

I should be doing my paper right now, but just couldnt help but blog this :P
